Now is the time to renew for 2008

NOW IS THE TIME TO RENEW!

Right now our creative programmers are feverishly planning another summer of spectacular musical events, so you'll want to secure your seats as early as possible.

If you are a Hollywood Bowl subscriber, your Account ID and Password were sent with your renewal invoice (see #7 on your invoice for your information). Please use this information to Log in and renew your subscription, purchase tickets to non-subscription concerts, and make a donation to the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association. If you renew online, please do not return renewal invoice by mail.

Two series of five Tuesday evenings

TU1 July 7, 21, August 4, 18, September 1:
Exciting classical programs feature popular Bowl conductors Bramwell Tovey, Leonard Slatkin, and Miguel Harth-Bedoya. Lynn Harrell performs the Lalo Cello Concerto; Grammy-winning James Ehnes performs Barber's Violin Concerto; plus a special screening of the recent Oscar-winning animated film Peter & the Wolf.

TU2 July 14, 28, August 11, 25, September 8:
Opera superstar Plácido Domingo makes his Bowl conducting debut with classical luminary Yo-Yo Ma! Bramwell Tovey leads an all-Beethoven evening with British pianist Paul Lewis; conductor Nicholas McGegan presents an all-Mozart evening with Canadian pianist Louis Lortie; and conductor Marin Alsop returns to the Bowl to lead Mahler's Symphony No. 5.

Classical Thursdays

Two series of five Thursday evenings

TH1 July 9, 23, August 6, 20, September 3:
Conductor Bramwell Tovey welcomes baritone Thomas Hampson for an evening of American delights. Conductors Leonard Slatkin, Miguel Harth-Bedoya and Stèphane Denéve return, while violinist Leonidas Kavakos and pianist Joyce Yang make their Hollywood Bowl debuts. Philip Glass' score for the renowned film Koyaanisqatsi premieres in a new version for ensemble and orchestra, commissioned by the LA Phil.

TH2 July 16, 30, August 13, 27, September 10:
Bramwell Tovey leads the LA Phil in an all-Beethoven evening and, as the season finale, a rare performance of the Berlioz Requiem. Conductor Marin Alsop, violinist Gil Shaham and pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet make welcome returns, and the ebullient Nicholas McGegan leads an evening of pure Mozart.

World Music Series

KCRW's World Festival

Two series of three Sunday evenings

Last year, KCRW's World Festival celebrated its tenth birthday, a milestone for this imaginatively eclectic series, which continues to flourish and convert new fans every season. Hand-selected artists from around the globe make these concerts some of the Bowl's most enthralling presentations.

Sunday Sunset Performances
